Seems like he would have done better to spend less points on toys and more points on bodies in tanks. The Slaanesh guy I mean.

I would agree with that assessment. Personally I would probably exchange at least the second set of Oblits for more troops, or the Terminators for a bunch more troops to fill out those squads. The Defiler's also a tough call. It's a big, easy to shoot target that can get capped right away like it did there, but if it does survive they can be pretty scary.

What he should do with the defiler is park it out of the way, to make any squad you send after it put themselves out of position, OR do just the opposite and have everyone crowded around it. Spending that massive investment of deadly sternguard to pop a defiler and then die horribly would be quite a waste.
