Can a caster like Deneghra cast crippling grasp, then have her skarlock cast crippling grasp, and then have the deathjack cast crippling grasp? Or is it all considered from her in ALL respects and thus she can only have one out at a time?

Yes. But that's only turn 1.
Turn 2:
You can upkeep 1.
Denny Casts on another.
Skarlock on another.
DJ on another.
Yielding 4 possible targets, this cycling is nice, but I feel 2 is 'enough' in most cases.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Each time you cast it, though, the previous casting goes away?

Assuming you upkept the spell from the previous turn, you can have the spell apply to four different targets in a turn, but it will drop off the previous target each time you cast it again from any of the named sources.
So:
- Upkeep Crippling Grasp on enemy Unit A
- Attack enemy unit A with friendly unit X (Bane Thralls, duh.)
- Activate Denny, cast Crip Grasp on enemy unit B, canceling the effect on unit A.
- Attack unit B with friendly unit Y.
- Activate Skarlock, cast Crip Grasp on enemy unit C, canceling the effect on unit B.
- Attack unit C with friendly unit Z.
- Activate Deathjack, cast Crip Grasp on enemy unit D, canceling the effect on unit C.
- Attack unit D with friendly unit... Q(?)
If you can pull all that off, you get a cookie. Upkeeping the spell, attacking the affected unit, then bouncing the spell once to another unit should be enough, as previously stated.
Besides, in an army with Denny and a Skarlock, DJ has much better things to do with that focus.

You can't maintain it, but you can juggle it i.e. upkeep on one unit, attack that unit, then activate caster and put on another, then attack that unit, then activate Skarlock and put on another etc.

Any previous upkeep spell disappears when you re-cast it.
As mentioned, timing is key.

That' frick'n unit Q keeps screwing me in games! GAH, how did that ever get past play testing?
You can only have one version of an upkeep spell in play at any time, but as described above, you can 'bounce' it around to get a good spread of usage.

Of course once you learn to do this properly and can do it turn after turn, Denny starts to be no fun to play against. Once I got a handle on this tactic I pretty much never played her again.

That's on your opponents to learn to deal with it. It's not your fault if they keep falling for the same trick and never utilize any of the many tools available to shut stuff like that down.

Well to be honest she isn't much fun to play with once you have mastered the plan either. Cast rinse repeat cast rinse repeat, gets pretty boring.

Same can be said of most casters in the game. Learn the trick and use it. The army can make it feel a bit different every time, but the trick is basicaly always the same...

Too true. The best games I had with Strakhov were games were my opponent knew what was coming and I didn't win on the second turn. Then I had to think and react and make interesting plays. It's one of the reasons that I traded all my Khador away and started Circle and Legion.
