Because I suck at mathammer and thought it a good idea at the time, I installed HB turrets on my 6 chimera. I realize the error of my ways and am trying to figure out how to remove the HB from the turret without jacking up the gun mount. My first thought was to use solvent in hopes to dissolve the adhesive, but that might not work on some because of the type of adhesive I used (according to a friend) and I seem to remember in hobby shop class way back when some solvents for that were nasty on plastic. Any tips or ideas?

If you used Superglue, then soaking in some simple green *might* be able to loosen it, but only if you used a tiny bit. If you used Plastic glue, then you're gonna have to take the knife to it.

Most Superglue solvents will corrode the plastic, if not outright melt it.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Word on the street is that you can freeze super glue to get stuff apart.

It isn't instant, and can take several goes, but freezing does weaken the bond (and will pretty much make it fall apart if accelerant was used) of superglues.
Acetone will debond superglue - but it also dissolves plastic so it isn't recommended unless it is a completely metal model.

Plastic glues: No solvent around that will work on that that won't also dissolve the plastic of the kit. Take a knife to it.

You could simply leave the bolter on, cut off the tip of the bolter barrel and cut your multi-laser to fit that. Some green stuffing would be required but it probably would come out looking good.

Superclean or Purple Power (automotive degreasers) will also loosen and weaken superglue, and are much better paint strippers than Simple Green as well.

Another option is to use a small hobby saw to cut the bolters off as flush as you can, and simply cut-and-graft what you want back in their place.

Thanks all for the tips. Might try WhiteWolf's idea, since I kinda like the side mounted targeter thingy on the HB turret. Make it look different at any rate.
