Hey guys so im getting back in to war games after about 3 years i have an old necron army with terrible paint i was down at my local shop talking to some people and this one guy told me he was selling some necs that he just bought so i went to see some and traded him so stuff for a few i really liked the paint job on the so im going with the new paint job but i have alot of old ones with this horrible paint i want the whole army to match so does anyone have some good advice on how to get the old paint off for the mostly plastic models thanks in advanced for the advice

Okay, please use some punctuation and grammar in your posts. That's really a pain to read and it comes off as all being said in one breath.

You're in the US, so you should be able to find Simple Green at any sort of grocery or Wal-Mart type place. You can just leave some models in a container of it for a few days then scrub the paint off with a toothbrush. It's plastic safe, so there won't be any model damage.

I you also may be able to get Simple Green from Home Depot if your local wally world does not have it.

Bah home depot is blasphemy...Lol i work at lowes.. but yea Simple green like 6 bucks for a gallon and you never need to dump it out because its super concentrated and works for ages. Just dump the models in and cover them with the stuff.. with at least a half inch over the top of the model incase some become buoyant for some reason. and let them kinda sit .. after 2 or three days grab a necron out and try to scrub him. if the paint doesn't come off easily then dump him back in and try in another few days

yea im young and worked there for 3 years.. Drama sucks ... but im gonna be going to culinary school since im not even 25 yet i got a career to think about not a Job..lol....

Simple green made my nids go from Minwax dipped to bare in 3 weeks
