If a Jump Pack unit Runs through area terrain, or is lashed, or is forced through terrain OTHER THAN their regular Movement move, does the unit take Dangerous Terrain Checks?
Or are DTTs only taken with the Voluntary 12" Jump Pack movement?
- edit -
Same questions for Bike units as well

Jump Infantry:
Running ignores Difficult Terrain completely(p16), so does not trigger Dangerous tests from Jump infantry.
Assaulting is considered to be on foot, and so doesn't trigger Dangerous terrain tests from regular difficult terrain, only from designated Dangerous Terrain. (p52).
Voluntary or involuntary has nothing to do with it; note that fall back moves are always considered to use the jump packs, and thus do trigger dangerous tests if you land in difficult. (p52).
Lash moves, per the CSM FAQ, work basically like a normal movement phase move, so you suffer the dangerous checks when he drags your jump infantry through the trees. Lash is not an assault move or a run move, so doesn't qualify for an exception.
Bikes:
Bikes can't run.
Bikes are not slowed at all when moving through Difficult; they take Dangerous checks instead (p53).
As with JI, Lash dragging your bikers through the trees forces checks.

I'd dispute the jump infantry dangerous terrain test - it states in the rulebook that jump infantry only need to take a dangerous terrain test if they actually "jump" that turn.
Such units have the option of walking - lash movement is not a "jump" move, so I would say that it does not trigger a dangerous terrain test.

Check out the CSM FAQ.
When using Lash, the player casting Lash moves the unit, making all decisions and following the normal movement rules (though up to the distance rolled as opposed to their normal distance, and not slowed by Difficult), as if it were his unit.
You are correct that the player moving a jump infantry unit can choose to move them on the ground instead of using their jump packs, but the Lash player gets the choice during the lash move. And he wants your guys smashing into trees.
Edit: While I'm at it...

Q. Can you use Lash of Submission to move models
around within a unit and re-arrange them? Can models
be moved out of unit coherency? Can a unit be moved
out of combat? If a unit is moved into dangerous
terrain, do they have to test? If jump infantry are
moved, are they assumed to be using their packs or
walking? Can a unit be shoved right off the table, or
into impassable terrain?
A. The move created by this power is executed exactly
like a normal move, except that it’s not slowed by
difficult terrain. It follows that, for example:
• the 2D6" distance rolled is the unit’s maximum
move, as normal, and models in the unit can move up to
that distance or less.
• models cannot be moved out of coherency.
• units cannot be moved out of combat.
• dangerous terrain tests must be taken as
normal.
• jump infantry may choose to move either with
their packs or on foot (moving player’s choice).
• units cannot enter impassable terrain, leave the
table or be moved closer than 1" to enemy models.

I was in agreement with liam about lash+jump not requiring a dangerous terrain test. Good catch on the FAQ.
This is one of those rules that I think most people play wrong. Chaos players should make sure to have a copy of the FAQ with them to avoid arguments with other players

Thats the thing - I'm familiar with the FAQ's for the armies I use - but not so much on the others.
