So as some of you know i've been working on some Exodite Dragon Knights, evidence of which can bee seen in my blog over in P&M Blogs.

During working on them so far i had this idea for an Exodite force which is a 'counts as' craftworld Eldar... and creating troops which are based on various aspect paths. The fluff idea being that post-fall, visitations of other Eldar to the Exodite worlds (with the exeption of Harlequins, Corsairs and Rangers) would be few and far between. However at somepoint visitations by notible Eldar (such as the Pheonix Lords) do happen and as such various areas of Craftworld life do get passed on... in this case i'm talking of the Aspect paths. Which due to the relative lack of regular communication between the Exodites and craftworld cousins become destorted and re-interpreted.

The test mini bellow is an attemt to realise this idea (if it at all makes sense). It is intended as a SS counts as. I intend him to be closecombat orientated (poweswords etc) and is very much bassed on feudal japan. I know it looks a little stumpy right now... thats because i have yet to make to legs... the pants are a samurai 3/4 leangth type thing... the head is also just for scale... i would use something different in the end, perhaps sculpt new... longer hair. I'm also not sold on the tabbard. Oh, and the arms i intend to be bare... no armour/clothes.

Anyway, C&C welcome.

I like the tabard. This proto definitely achieves the look i think you are going for. Maybe add those armoured skirts you see on samurai?

Looks nice. It'd look better with legs though lol.

I agree, great green stuff work. I really like the feudal Japan idea, can't wait to see the final results!

The sculpting is top-notch. If he's supposed to be a dinosaur rider his pose is fine. If he's supposed to be on foot I think his stance is a bit wide.

Have a look for some images of hakama, the kind of pants I think you're going for. Your design is close, but you're missing some pleats in the front that help keep away from the Hammer-pants look. I'm normally not a fan of tacking Japanese stuff onto warhammer stuff, but I could get behind hakama on Exodites- particularly because your sculpting looks like you could represent it well.
