I was wondering if someone could give me the exact measurements of the larger flourescent rods used in the Monolith, I already have different colour gause flayer rods but want to do different coloured monolith rods but dont have a monolith yet to measure them (waiting for santa to bring me one)

The rods in the side turrets and side walls on the monolith are the same standard sized tubes. The crystal however is going to take a bit more work. And I think it would look a bit odd for the main crystal to be green while all the other rods different?

Ive been studying pictures of the parts for the monolith, in the picture below, im referring to the rods on the set on the left, they are larger than the set on the right, with regard the crystal, a sheet of flourescent acrylic will do the job, just measure the original crystals individual faces, cut out each section, bevel the edges to the required angle and stick it together with pva glue.

So im after the dimensions of the larger rods on the left not the ones on the right.

they go in the 6 slits on either side of the monolith no? why not just cut up some more of that flourecent acrylic and glue it to the inside of the monolith? you can pospone assembly until the monolith is painted so as to not paint the acrylic.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
