I was not impressed with it. It seems comprised of a few one liners, a bunch of recycled (2x) bosses, repetitive quests, and an end boss that's impossible to kill on single player. The only reason to spend the 10$ on it is for the level cap bump but I hear a patch with an 8 level bump is coming out anyway.

Has anyone else played this?

I haven't gotten it, and I probably won't. I loved Borderlands, but it gets rather repetitive after a while. It was a really fun game and was the best online co-op I've played in quite a long time.

I've moved on, and more importantly, none of my friends are playing it any more. If they were to get back into it, I may give it a shot. But, I have no interest in doing it single player (or playing with randoms).

I'm not getting it.

Borderlands for me was a phase, I played it constantly for several weeks with a few friends, managed to reach a total of eight days Game-Time. Most of that is grinding bosses or generally mucking around. After watching a view trailers for the Claptrap Revolution, I decided it wasn't worth it.

It needs another General Knox type DLC.

Nah. It's already had 2 smallish DLCs (1 of which sucked) and a larger DLC. That's about my limit on DLC for a game. What it really needs is a sequel!

I played through ClapT.R. and I took out the end-boss by myself. I liked it, but meh. I do agree w/ the need for BL2.

I didn't mind the Roboution. The game is still entertaining, and it is fun shooting Clap Traps in the face. I just wish the loot had been better. The only place I ever find a decent weapon is in the power plant among the stacks of crates.

As for BL2, I doubt we see it anytime soon, if at all. They did just release the super pack a couple months ago.

I just couldn't take down that boss by myself. How did you do it? and with which character?

I was using Mordicai. All I was doing was staying behind cover, jumping out and taking a few snipe shots. Rinse and repeat.

You must have better guns than I. between the gatling guns, laser eye and the kamikaze claptraps I couldn't get any damage to stick. maybe if I had a proper corrosive weapon...

It was waaaaay too easy. And, like a sucker, I got it and beat it before they upped the level cap, so I'm still at 61. Had no problems with any part of it, at all... kinda sad actually.

I just downloaded all the expansions last night for the hell of it. Well I got the zombie island one back when it was released but not the other 3. I don't even remember what level my main guy is. I think 32. I was just starting my 2nd playthrough and thats when I kinda decided I didn't want to play the same game all over again.
