1. Can drednaughts fall back out of close combat like marines can?

2. If a drednaughts close combat weapon(s) is destroyed or they are imbolized for their turn and they are assaulted, does the attcker have to still roll for Weapon Skill or do they get an automatic hit?

3. If a squad with a heavy weapon moves, which means the heavy weapon cannot fire, can the rest of the squad still fire (if they have say rapid fire or assault weapons) or are they prohibited from firing too?

4. IN the rule book on the vehicle DAMAGE RESULT chart, no. 2, crew stunned states at the end of it's ruling that "The vehicle may not move nor shoot until the end of its next player turn" ...this wording is very unclear to me... I assume it means next turn that that player has, they cannot use that vehicle at all for the whole turn!? and then the turn after that one again they can?

is this correct?

1. See Walkers and assault, and note that they never take morale checks.

2. They still roll against weapon skill for normal attacks

3. The rest of the squad can still fire.

4. The owning player may do nothing with it the player turn following the result. So if it is stunned on the opponnets turn thruogh shooting the next turn it cannot do anything.

1. Dreadnoughts do not take combat resolution results, so no.

2. They roll against weapon skill for the dread. Grenades now hit a WS and not on a 6.

3. Restrictions on firing are determined based on the unit counting as moving, but for a per model basis.

4. Your next turn you cannot use the vehicle. So if in the top of turn 2 my opponents Stuns my dread, I cannot use it in the bottom of 2, but if it is not stunned again in the top of 3, I can use it in the bottom of 3.

Calypso - note the "or" in 2, as only if it were immobilised do you hit on a WS comparison. If it has simply lost any and all DCCW you still hit on 5s.

Just to clarify here, are you suggesting that Marines can choose to leave a combat? Because that's not really accurate. Or rather, they can do so, but only under specific conditions.

Well, it's immobilized or stunned............ but agree on the lost weapon bit.

Thanks all of you for your help, you guys are fantastic.

Ok so Grenades no longer hit on a 6? But rather on a WS comparison?

Since when? Has the rule book been updated?

It's only when they're immobilized or stunned.
