Ok,

So I'm thinking of overhauling my current Space Marine Army to a possible Salamander army since all I have to do is repaint.

But what would their fluffy units be/fluffy lists?

This is what I think I know already...

-Meltas
-Flamers
-Drop Pods
-Land Speeders

Would units like Assault Termies, Dreads, and Predators be fluffy for them?

Of you have any sample lists, that would be awesome!

They're codex... so anything in there I guess?

But yeah, you want lots of what you've already mentioned.

read the old armageddon codex, it will point you in the right direction.

As to fluffy, Landspeeders, bikers/attack bikes, Assault marines are all out.
these were all restricted in C:A, take 0-1 if you want to stick to fluff

Land Raider Redeemer?
Might not be as good but damn it's fun.
Also if you magnetize the sponsons you can have a crusader as well.

Taking the forgefather may be helpful, however, his utility may be lessened amongst a mech army... though Re-rolling Melta hits is O-So-Delicious

Other Dreadnaughts should just go somewhere and be a toaster.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Ahh, forgot about that! His model is pretty cool, and his Heavy flamer is a nice touch before he charges into combat. He's overall a good model to include in a Salamanders force, for the fluff. Even if you don't use him for that purpose, you could just proxy him as another HQ choice.

Right now I'm running a Librarian in Termie armor, so I'd mainly be using Vulkan in 2K point games, unless you suggest otherwise.

Libby in termie armor is fine. I field Vulkan in 1500+ games, however, I play almost strictly for fun =). If you plan on doing something Tournamenty (ITS A WORD NOW!!!) I suggest not taking him unless it's 2k points.

Again, contradicting myself, if your list is going for the Low-model count, and is fielding a lot of TH/SS termies, I'd say GO FOR IT!

York/London(for weekends) oh for the glory of the british rail industry

Each salamander marine is a craftsman, so they maintain their own armour. this allows the techmarines the time to make kick ass stuff, so a fluffy army would have terminator armour, artificer armour, master-crafted weapons.

and as everyone has said bikes and speeders are out as they don't get practice time with them, due to planetary conditions.

Relictors: 1500pts

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.
