My ork army is pretty heavy duty for my standards i wanted a bigger one but i just don't have the time anymore i have a point limit of 761. with three looted tanks. i was hinking of changing my army and working on another on but i'm not sure what one my cousin has a bunch of his space marines here he still needs painted i was looking at them today and thinking aout painting a couple he said i could. but i definitely want to take a reak from orks.

if you guys have any opinions n what i should do let me know

Well, most of the games I see at my FLGS start at 1000 and work up by 250s from there (1250, 1500, etc). If you have 750 points of Orks, you wouldn't have enough for those games unless it was doubles.

You might consider getting Assault on Black Reach. It'd give you a new army to play with (C:SM, or you could use them for one of the separate marine codices ie BA, SW, BT, etc), and you'll get a lot of shiny Ork pieces to add to your army at the same time (deffkoptaz, more boyz and nobz!)

Otherwise...I think choosing a new army deals with what you want to play. Orks tend to field armies with masses of units, would you like a force that has fewer, more specialized and higher quality units? Or do you want to play a massive army with a different aesthetic?

One of the shops I play at will let you borrow store copies of a codex if you leave your keys with them. If your store doesn't, maybe you could borrow a friend's codex? You could always "counts as" your orks for different armies to decide whether you like playing one before you make an investment.

“Who is to judge what is right and what is wrong? Great and powerful foes surround us; unknown miscreants gnaw at us from within. We are threatened with total annihilation. In days such as these we can afford no luxury of morality.”

i did what you sad this morning i was thinking about it last night i went ans bought assault on black reach i am currently working on some conversions. one of my old friends is coming in to town tomorrow and we are going to sit down and work on a couple of my oks. anyway yea orks are a horde army i think i might turn them into a side project.....don't get me wrong i love my ork army to death it's just that i'm getting tired of painting them 95% of the guys look the same. the only thing thats fun now is conversions. i'm thinking that if i work on something else and then come back to thm in a few months i could start again but untill that happens i'm bored with orks.

It sounds like you need to get a bit more organised and get a production line going. I painted these guys in about 4 months (and I'm easily distracted by internet, xbox, etc....):
