When I went down to Warhammer World (that most blessed of fastnesses of nerdiness) I saw a brief glance of the Apocalypse book. It was opened to the page on the Heirophant, and I saw it had Warp Field. Seeing as this is now a power unique to the Zoanthrope, and now gives the user a 3+ invulnerable save, I wondered where that puts it. There are probably other units in there that are now outdated (mostly nids).

Might it be time for a new edition?

Not really.
The fact it has a 3++ could indicate it has some kind of psychic presence that auto-protects it.
Or there is a psyker somewhere else protecting it like when you call an orbital bombardment down you don't actually have a ship but you get it's effects.
