What is there to say? This looks like a slightly more aggressive version of the tried and true lash list. Should serve you well.

Total garbage if I ever saw it!

You'r H.Q. Is confused as to...

Okay, I'll cut the bullspit. No real faults to be found, personally, I'd rather take Plague Marines over Noise but I have an affinity to Death Guard.

Should serve you well!

I would try to find points to switch the sorc w/ another daemon prince.

Also, are the terms and all oblitz deepstriking?

Can't beat Necrons w/ CSM?

Take 2 squads of Nurgle possesed Swooping hawks and haywire both Monoliths turn 1.

Can't fail. Then charge nightbringer with a possesed Lysander w/ MoN.

Just got to think outside the box bro.

Looks solid, of course. I don't love Sonic Blasters, but they can be handy in some situations.

Thanks for the input.......

I really like the versatility of the sonic blaster wielding NM over the plague marines 2x special weapons...The sonic blasters are alot better IMO - granted the t5 and fnp is pretty sweet too I just prefer to be more active than reactive with my army and although I have 2 squads of Plague marines I hardly ever field them....

Of course the termicide units deepstrike and I sometimes deepstrike 1 unit of oblits depending on what I'm playing against.

How do you think this list would fare at say, Adepticon...?

thanks again for the input,

Phillip

Im not sure about the noise marines at adepticon as yes there will be some ork mobs, but you will have to go to mephiston and as a fellow chaos player. If you dont go first against vendetta-manta cheese, your oblits are gonna be in bad company. Lascannons away. Your oblits are more likely to die first turn. If you deep strike them, there just gonna get melta-vetted

The list looks good.
I would not be too concerned if you face vendetta cheese,
since you could hide the Obliterators behind a (small) Rhino wall.

This list would do fine at Adepticon if you've got practice with it. I ran similar but not quite as optimized lists this year and last year in the Championships, coming 4th and 6th.

played 2 games today with pretty solid results.

1st game was against 4 Razorback/2 LR Redeemer Blood Angels list, mission was spearhead-capture and control...I had him with no vehicles on turn 3 and I still had 2 active rhinos, I held mine and contested his on the 5th turn.

the 2nd game was against Tsons chaos army with 6 oblits, 2 DP and 4 squads of 7 Tsons, mission was Pitched Battle Annihilaton and I won 8-4, all he had left when game ended was 3 oblits that had been lashed a total of 30 inches and 3 Tsons that were locked in combat with both termicide squads for 3 turns...

I'm set to play against Ghazzie/kff mek and IG vets next week...we will see how that goes! All in all I was very happy with the list today.

MVP this week- DOOM SIRENS- killed like 15 MEQ in 2 games.

got a game in today against imthepariah's Daemonhunters. Mission was Dawn of War-Annihilaton! His army had 3 squads of GK, 2 LRC and Grand Master with 7 Terminator Retinue....

Kill Points were in his favor to start with, he popped 3 Rhinos, charged and ate my DP with termies and killed 2 termicide squads. I killed 2 LRC, Grand Master along with 6 terminators and 2 units of GK.....Kill point total, him-6 me-5.

My obliterators were a total fail this game, they just refused to hit....and the 1 time I used a Doom Siren I killed 5 PAGK before charging in.

I am thinking of trying a Sorcerer in Terminator armour, dropping 1 termicide squad and 2 oblits for a large terminator mob.....my NM are pretty solid but against a DEDICATED assault unit or 3 in this case I need some more punch!!!

Thoughts?????

Looks quite good. I played such a list at several occasions.
If you build a (competitive) CSM list, then the question is what to add
after 2 DPs, 6 Obliterators, and 3 troop units in Rhinos.
I found that the Termies are the best choice here.
I'd give all of them combi-plasma.
However, outfitting all models differently may eventually help
to keep the unit alive, by wound allocation.

Yeah, I think I like them being diversified and believe that the wound allocation will(should) help the life of the unit!

Thanks for the response, I hope it does well...and I feel very comfrotable with either 1 of the lists so, maybe.....

I like it, never been sold on NMs myself due to the high points cost. Have you tried running them as a 5 man unit with just doom siren? Saves a ton of points, you could then take more Oblits.

Just a thought.

How does that big unit of Termies work for you? I have toyed with making a 30 termie Chaos army but the fact that they can be run down or run away just scares the crap out of me for using such an expensive unit. IoCG relaly helps to mitigate this, but still.

About the NM, I have been playing them almost exclusively for around 3 years now and I have NEVER been worried about their points cost...for 10 points more than a regular marine you get I5, Fearless, 2 shots on the move or 3 sitting still...at the full 24in or 3 attacks each on the charge plus Bolt Pistol shots. The Doom siren is awesome no doubt but the strength of the NM unit is their VERSATILITY. I think the small squads with just Doom Siren would actually hurt more than help. I've used PM, Zerkers and regular CSM and the NM are just better IMO. I would play 3 units of NM if I could squeeze the points, lol!!

For the terminators, you must control when/if they are in close combat..this is pretty easy with lash...if you control when/if they go into close combat it works very well, because they will hardly ever run from shooting......
