I normally play marines but have started with Eldar because i got a heap of guys from a friend one of those guys was ELDRAD!

Now im not proud of it but i use ELDRAD

Its just hes so good i know that people hate him and all but is he really so bad to use?

And also if i dont use him who should i use as a replacement?

use him if you wanna he's pretty epic for his points cost, just remember he doesn't have fleet lol

You shouldn't feel bad about using Eldrad. He is one of the best special characters in the game and if anything you should be proud that you have a very early 4th edition Codex that has a special character that is better than most 5th edition characters.

I use him all the time in my Eldar army, in fact I can't think of an army where he wouldn't be good in.

Eldrad+Avatar+Fortune=Unit that Just won't die!

Our troops suck, our fast attack sucks, our transports cost too much.
Don't be afraid to take Eldrad if you want.
Just let him rest from time to time Otherwise he'll stop being this annoying powerhouse and becomes just "Meh, Eldrad again. Can't Eldar play anything else?".

Good replacement is just doomseer. Cheap and zomglolwtf good. Add runes of warding if enemy has psykers.

Also, can't use 3rd power while he's in combat. I ALWAYS forget about it.
