I was thinking of buying a commander / commisar for my HQ when I get my death korps army , and painting him pink and purple with a power fist which he could give "power hugs" which raises leadership / morale by 1 .

I was also thinking should I only have him pink or should I paint a command squad pink and purple aswell or just leave him pink while the other are gonna be like grey-ish .

..No to the raising leadership by 1, go right ahead for the paint job. One of my old GW's redshirts had a Pimpissar, so go right ahead and have fun.

I was thinking of getting him for my "commander snuggles" but also getting another one to paint like the rest of em'

But should i get a HQ squad and replace the commander guy in that with the big hat guy or get a command squad

On the topic of Commander Snuggles, I named one of my chaos lords "Doctor Gigglesworth". When he got utterly destroyed in an apoc game by way of nuclear blast, I just happened to acquire a chaos dreadnought.

"Doctor Gigglesworth" is now a dreadnought covered in spikes painted to look like he's wearing surgeon clothes(gloves, smock, facemask)

Me and my freinds had a custom carnifex which we called the cannibal care bear because "it carried so much about totally annihating the enemys "best" models in close combat".

Also with the death korp's HQ squad you get a HQ without a hat , but wit ha eagle like helmet , I was thinking of making Commander Snuggles Companion.

Lt.... I cant think of anything should he be "pretty" like snuggles or bad ass ?

Heh, reminds me of a character idea I had with a friend last night.

We were discussing how awesome I thought the name of an actual chapter was (The Space Sharks), and how lame and 90s kid cartoon it sounded.
So we'll make a character for the chapter named, Freddy Extreme! He'll have a power fist called the MAXIMUM PUNCH, roller blades to represent his jump pack and a popped collar to represent his artificer armor. Maybe well throw some slick visor shades to show off some other rule.
