My name is Stephen, I'm hosting a tournament where everyone can have fun, but still be competitive. There are 3 homebrew missions basically based off heresy and 'ard boyz tournaments with a bit of a different twist, but not in any way ridiculous. The point value would be 1750. Points will be given for painted and based, and a cool conversion will be awarded an extra point. The point total will be out of 41 points. The entree fee is $10.00, and the top 3 will be given cash prizes. An extra award will be given for best conversion and that will be a vote amoung all the players. Other rules include no formations, no proxy, std FOC only, and conversions are obviously allowed. Also models from imperial armour / upgrades may be taken as well. I looked up the Guard Tower on Google because I've never been there. Street View shows a car wash, does this play a part in those special missions?

But of course! Its a new dimension to the game, what with changing weather conditions and all. btw... soapy spinning brushes are a strength D weapon!


*ahem* anywho- ya Its a bit of a tucked away locale (little further down the street than the carwash), but once you know how to get there, its easy. Its in a little plaza next to the Trabue Tavern- a set of railroad tracks runs right behind it. Once in that plaza its the shop furthest to the back. Plenty of parking and 40k nights regularly every Monday at 6!

As to the tourney, He was talking about pushing it to next month (as we've encountered just a few problems as far as scheduling conflicts and the like). Lots of people were in much the same boat as you MegaDave- workin and stuff so no dice for a tourney.

to answer ur question Dave I didn't say anything about it because I haven't had a clue of when it would be. There is so many people with schedule conflicts... so ur free after 4 on weekdays and then weekends ur obviously free most likely.

but... but... this friday I can make it...
