So, I've been engrossed in the Cain series of novels, and I really like the combination of him and Jurgen, his aide. I think that it would be fun to have rules for blanks, which possibly decrease the effect of psycic attacks, maybe within a 24" range, decreases the roll by one, and nullifies a warp attack on a friendly psyker.

Jurgen has to be closer than 24". Usually he has to be within reach of Cain to do that slimy git any good. Call it 6"..

I'd agree that Soulless needs better representation if blanks are just Soulless while pariahs are both Soulless and Psychic Abominations. I'd go for Soulless to act like Kharn's "Blessings of the Blood God" with a 6" area of effect based on Jurgen's model.

I'd add Psychic Abomination to upgrade Blanks to Pariahs, with it causing Morale checks on all enemy units within 6" at the end of the Shooting phase. Units including models with Psychic Powers would have to re-roll that morale test.

Nurglitch has the idea down and with proper points would seem to be the perfect fit.
