Quick question I have both the old metal Seekers of Slaanesh and the new plastics. Do I have to keep them on the bases the came with? Or can I mount the new ones on 40mm rounds like the metal ones?

You use the bases they came with, thats a rulebook rule. (Can't remember the page I don't have it with me)

I have old Terminators which came on small bases and new ones which come with the larger bases and I can use both in a squad. You can too. Its pretty cool to take advantage of it to get more attacks in CC.

Have fun!

Oh well... I just don't like the way they look.

You can effectively increase your threat distance with the new bases from a gameplay perspective at least.

I'd end up going with the New bases for the fact that they will look more uniform, and no one will bite your head off. However if they are on a different base, you may get ppeople complaining (they will be wrong, but when you have 2 hours max for a game in a tournie you dont want 15mins spent arguing over this).

I base all my seekers on 40mm round bases and have never had an issue with anyone. (Actually, all my cav in 40k are mounted on 40mm rounds.)

Well, its not like I can take this army to a tournament anyway, so 40mm bases it is.

The rulebook PERMITS you to use the older bases if you choose, but in practice most opponents will be happiest if all your Seekers (or Terminators) are on the base the unit currently comes with.
