Well, the Tac Marines have missles, so they can combat squad. The Missile squads will set up on objectives preferably in the back and shoot at anything fast with Missiles. The Melta/Combi Flamer Squads will drop in. The rest is the same. Speeders will come in from reserves normally and either contest objectives, or hunt down units trying to contest mine.

One thing, Don't drop podding squads choose to combat squad when they land?

Why not MMs in the tac squads since you're running Vulcan? Three missile launchers won't add much anti-horde and the MMs still have decent range.

behind you!

I would drop a tactical squad for more of..... idk. something else. anything else. tacs blow. I think you should try to get all their special and heavy weapons to synergize a little better. first guess you took missile launchers and flamers because they're free? multi meltas are also free and a meltagun is only 10 pts iirc. there was an article on dread lists on bols recently. author claimed drop podding dreads doesnt work. couldnt speak from personal experience but he made a strong case. a/w good luck.

A sternguard unit with some combi-weaps would add some pewpew

This.

I've had better luck with MotF lists by using infantry selections, (TH/SS death star or Sternguard,) in my elite choices and just filling up my heavy support with drop dreads. Sternguard are a little better at dealing with things like IG vehicle squadrons and the like because they can pewpew a bit more heavily on a unit with combi-meltas.

Playin' GKs since it was an incredibly painful experience.

Why does the MotF have a combi-flamer? doesn't he come with a regular flamer?

and TAC squads can only combat squad AFTER they come out of their drop pod. This is why you see a lot of Drop podding TACS with MMs because the drop pod makes their lack of range more or less moot.

Can't the MoTF shoot his servo harness flamer and his combi-flamer at the same time? Pretty sure he can, which could be nasty dropping two twin-linked flamer templates down out of one model lol

List needs more Ironclads tho

Yes two twin linked flamer templates would be pretty nasty... but for ten points less you can instead just have one... which still isn't bad, and also fire a twin linked plasma pistol shot. Not nearly as good as the flamer.. but again... Free..

And I'm not really sold on the ironclads.. in my (rather limited) experience, they tend to drop, then get stunned, or imobilised, or any of the other horrible things that can happen to the dread... That being said it's not like there's anything preventing that from happening to the regular dreads. So ironclads will basically be a less shooty but all in all, a likely more killy replacement for your dreads. It could work

Yeah, at this point I'm thinking Multi Meltas would be best. I've also considered dropping the Speeders for Ironclads. I think it would be a viable option, although MMs longer range is nice against fast armies.
