I'm going to try to "Expansion:Spear Head" tomorrow.
But 2 question came up.

1.Do "Mechanized Assault Spearhead" Formation include units(infantry) which mounted in transports in formation?
If so,since units in spearhead formation dosen't count in FOC chart,I'll take "Elites" in formation to use like addtional 3 elite slot.

2.If answer for question 1 is "not included",Can Units which mounted in transports for "Mechanized Assault Spearhead" formation be taken in "mass attack spear head"?

It is mandatory to take units that will be transported by the transport vehicles, and the spearhead description does specify anywhere in the codex.

That would be permitted, yes.

From what I can tell, none of the other spearheads in http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1050292a_Spearhead__Formations include a combination of vehicles and units that those vehicles can transport. If you take transport vehicles in the "Mass Attack Spearhead", there is no option to include passengers as part of that spearhead.
