I'm thinking of making a relatively fluffy yet at least semi-competitive Arbites army.
I'll be making them out of a mixture of Cadians and Scouts, and the Valkyrie will be converted up to look like a Huey.
And before anyone mentions it, I will not be removing Carapace armour. They need to withstand riots, people!
Company Command Squad
-Medi-Pack
-Plasma Gun(x3)
-Carapace Armour
-Chimera
200 points

-Shotguns
-3 meltaguns

Valkyrie
-Multiple Rocket Pods

Any ideas as to what to spend my last 115 points on? Thoughts?

If you can spare up another 20 or so points, why not try one of the Hellhound variants?

I was thinking that, but I'm at a loss as to where I can get those points from. Unless I bump it up to 1500...

You could drop multiple rocket pods, or switch the medic to a fourth plasmagunner.

Do rough riders still come with hunting lances as standard?

Yes they, thankfully, do. I still wouldn't use them however but thats just me.
Well, I might incorperate them if I ever get my scheming little hands on the FW DKoK Rough Riders

Awesome. I'm gonna use them as sort-of mounted riot police

I'd go back to first list and replace medic with another PG. why do you need two saves plus the chimera in a CCS? Hell i run mine with no medic or carapace and 4xplasma.
Used saved points on second valk with MRPS for crowd control. In any game that Valk will be toast turn 1. two valks gives you the possibility of actually killing something.
