I finished all the major quest lines and am now at the "helping random people with insignificant problems" stage. One thing that annoys me is how powerful you can be with high enchanting. My Daedric sword hits 300 and thats not even close to its full potential if i bothered to get my alchemy to 100, you can easily hit in the thousands.
Playing with a friends high elf, its funny to see how much easier the early game is with a mage character.

After playing through, although its nothing im too concerned about, i believe there should be a few more achievements/trophies for some things:
- Property Developer, own every house
- Thane of Skyrim, become thane of all 9 holds
- Dragon Relics, find all 10 Dragon Preist masks

It is indeed but there seems to be a glitch where the jarl of the rift will not open a dialogue box, therefore making it impossible to become thane of the rift. Becoming thane in the Rift, the Reach, Eastmarch and Haafingar also requires you to buy a house, but can be avoided with the "free house" glitch/cheat.

What is this glitch you speak of? Is it a console only thing or can I do it on my 369 and will I be able to upgrade my houses?
No its quite simple really. Find the steward you want to buy a house from (it also works for buying upgrades) and make sure their standing next to something you can store money in. This is usually easiest at night as their beds are usually close to a chest/wardrobe/sack ect. Then quite simply request to buy the house/upgrade. While they are talking quickly exit the dialogue and store all your money in the container. Then wait for them to finnish talking and you will get the house key/upgrade without them taking any money. Then simply retrieve your money from the container, rinse and repeat. There are several vids that show you how to do this.

Probably not as it would take too long for them to say "I am swooooorn to carry your burdens" and then open their inventory interface. The gold would be removed from your inventory by the time the interface opened.

Ah thats probably true just quicker the other way, especially if your house has LOTS of upgrades.

I did the DB questline, mainly for shaddowmere as horses die notoriously easily. I wasn't a fan of doing it as it doesn't go with my "honourable" play style, i.e I don't like killing innocent people. I only did It so I would have control of all the major organisations in Skyrim.
I found it funny when killing the "Emperor" when i was running from the trap with half of solitudes guards and legionaries after me, I was simply stopped by one guard and demanded I pay the bounty. I did so and every guard decided to go back to normal, aren't I still a wanted criminal? Guess not.

Daba wrote:I'd rather not, but I need more than just one anyway.
Currently I have 2, I need 3 or 4 more.
4 armour pieces
1 2H weapon (probably Axe, maybe Sword if it's better? Hammers were too slow for me, though the Volendrung seems faster than a normal hammer)
Maybe the bow (but I'm using bows less and less now so...)
The way I get more deadra hearts is by taking them from the shrine of lord Dagon. You have to do (I think its called) the "Mythic Dawn" quest, started by talking to a guy in Dawnstar at his museum. After you have done most of the quest (finding pieces of a dagger) he wants to make lord Dagon make it whole again. Lord Dagon wants you to kill the other guy to make the dagger. YOU MUST REFUSE THIS, the other guy will give you some money, run and Lord Dagon will send dremora to try and kill you. You can take their hearts and they respawn at his shrine after a certain amount of time (dont ask me how long). DO NOT DO THIS if you ware dead keen on getting the achievement for 15 daedric artefacts, or if you want the dagger (it has a small chance of an insta-kill).

Id save your dragon bones until you get 100 smithing, you can make dragon armor and upgrade it which sells for ALLOT. Also dont bother "buying" a house, use the free house cheat (you still need to have the money for the house but you wont spend it).

I like the look of daedric armour however you cant help but look extremely evil while you wear it. Dragon plate dosent look brilliant IMO but it deffinatly makes you look the part of "Dovahkiin". My favourite looking armour is steel plate (and imperial with the hoplite helmet), but i dont wear it cause its not the best.

The way to deal with the centurions is to get in close, i mean hugging their legs close. That way they wont be able to use their extremely nasty steam attack. You either have to be pretty proficient at blocking or dodging to do this well.

Yea I ran into that problem, you just have to buy that "upgrade" before all the others. Its still glitched for me that the Jarl of Riften still wont even talk to me so I cant become thane of the Rift.

I dont know why I care because im a console player but im extremely keen to see a comprehensive lord of the rings mod. All id really want would be some new sets of themed weapons and armour and particularly (as much as i like it, it gets a bit repetitive) to replace the sound track with the appropriate LOTR sound tack (especially the "beacon lighting" music for dragon fights). This kind of all stems from the idea of duel wielding a sword and a staff, standing in front of Alduin and shouting "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!", except we cant get Gandalfs robes and hat. (a fantasy game without pointy wizards hats! I was shocked when I started)

For those just wanting to go nuts and be super OP, use the "fortify alchemy" enchantment on a set of gear (4 pieces, head, gauntlets, ring, amulet). Equip these and make a "fortify restoration" potion. Drink it, unequip then re-equip the alchemy gear and make another one. If you repeat this for long enough (the higher your enchanting/alchemy the quicker) you will start making fortify restore potions which boost MILLIONS of percent with the same effect on the alchemy gear. Then simply make a few enchanting and smithing potions which will also boost MILLIONS of percent. You can now improve/enchant armour to be invincible and 1 hit KO everything.

I just finished making a daedric armour set (with the ridiculous stats exploit of course) and its something like this:
Helmet: Fortify destruction and archery
Armour: Fortify Health and resist poison
Gauntlets: Fortify one and two handed
Boots: Fortify carry weight and muffle
Shield: Fortify block and resist magic
Ring: Fortify unarmed and pickpocket
Amulet: Fortify lockpick and sneak
Let me tell you its fun sneaking in plain eyesight of an ancient dragon, standing up, not being even hurt by the fire and then one hit falcon punching it in the face.

I've heard about this and just don't see the appeal. God mode is only so fun for so long. I find it more enjoyable to take things down the hard way.
I know what you mean but its hard to know "how much" power makes the game enjoyable but not too hard ( lvl 60 on master). I even before i discovered the exploit my armour (completely legit, improved to legendary with no potions) made me still all but unbeatable. Before I had 4 pieces of armour with 40% fortify one handed, my daedric sword did 300 damage (Alduin went down in 3-5 hits). I thought if I was going to be OP I would be OP overkill.

But yeah, it is silly that dragonplate needs more smithing than daedric. I think bethesda derped there :/.
And it doesn't even look cool. Well, I guess I should be happy Daedric is better because it looks way cooler. Still all that work. Anyone one know where I can pick up a couple more Daedric hearts so I can finish my armour set off?
Try doing that quest for that museum in dawn star. If you choose to kill him in the end, a new area should open up that spawns daedras regularly.
Failing that, there are some merchants who sell them.
It still spawns them if you dont kill him.
