Having read Flight of the Eisenstein and recently heard the audio book Garro, Oath of Moment, I'd like to know what people think of the rumour that Garro may be featured in the GK or Inquisition Codex which is reputedly due for release next year.

What I'm really keen to find out is whether, being the first Marine recruited into the Inquisition, and assuming he survives the next 10,000 years, he would translate onto the gaming table as powerfully as Abaddon or even Calgar?

Hopefully the rumour of his inclusion in the codex is based on fact and we'll get a really top notch miniature out of it. I have no real ambition to play as Grey Knights or inquisition but am very interested in the character and his continuing existence in the fluff!

As awesome as it would seem, I doubt Garro could survive 10.000 years of fighting demons and heretics and whatnot. The oldest loyalist space marine on record is what, 4000 years old?
Not likely, but I would love to be proven wrong.

It has been varified by John Hurt that the Ultramarines are indeed the greatest space marine chapter.

Judging by the thunder of keyboards rattling to respond to my post, I'm guessing everybody else agrees with you!

Depends if you count dreadnoughts.
Also he doesn't have to be alive in the 41st milenium. Plenty of SCs are dead.
I also agree with the general awesomeness.
