It's said 2D6 at close combat section but it shouldbe 3d6 and disgard the lowest according to swiftride specila rule.

Not sure if this is a question, as you have answered yourself...

Cavalry have the swiftstride special rule. This rule overrides page 56 "A unit pursues 2D6"

You pursue by rolling 3D6 and choosing the highest 2.

2,500 - Discipline. Duty. Unyielding Will.
2,000 - He alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood.
2,500 - Order. Unity. Obedience.

As above.

They only list the base case for all rules. Special rules then override where they are more specific than the general rule.
