The medusa imo is the worst HS slot guard has, as it's only direct fire on an av 12 frame

PW's are a waste except in blobs imo

psyker battle squads can make dumb things happen

I was thinking about dropping the Medusa for Hydras and a battle squad but I wanted some anti terminator stuff. and the power weapons were to fill extra points.

every veteran squad is anti termie as vendettas can be after the job is done

3 medusa in a squadron is a giant target. Any outflanking or deepstriking unit will ruin 1/4 of your army in one fell swoop.

Also consider what your game plan would be if the enemy had long range anti-tank.

drop the Medussa's (they are a huge target and will not get their points back) +450 points
drop the PW's ( if you assault something its going to be a bad day) +60 points
drop the Astropath (there is nothing in your army that outflanks) +30 points

total is 540 points.

Good thoughts on the cuts Grix, but your additions leave much to be desired.
Storm troopers are somewhat sub-par. Vendettas need to be fielded as at least 2. LRBT are not stellar either. PBS is situational but alright.

I would think about 2 hydras and 2 vendettas for starters. I wouldn't drop all 3 medusas, maybe just take it down to 1.
Also, if you take vendettas, keep the astropath.

Just adding my two cents...

Drop the Medusa's, they can work but only when there are enough other things that your opponent would rather shoot at than them.

Drop the Astropath and one power weapon somewhere and you can add in a squadron of three Hydra's if you can convert some up or have the money to FW them and two Vendetta's.

This way you keep plenty of anti-tank that the Medusa's used to be doing with the Vendetta's and get an added bonus of the Hydra's that just rock for killing anything but heavy armor.

Having said that though play a few games with your army and see how it works. If it works for you all of our suggestions are meaningless.

Also have to agree with ph34r that storm troopers are subpar(way over priced), LRBT just never seem to do it for me, and the PBS is really on the downward swing of things. PBS were great when they first came out but virtually every codex release afterwards has had some type of psychic user that comes with a hood. I have been finding that they are quickly becoming less and less useful in a tournament setting where you don't know what you will be playing.
