15 or 28mm figures?

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you. |

Looks like Elhiem 20mm minis.
I must say, they are quite nice! I like how you did the Marine digital camouflage pattern. It can be tough to pull off in miniature, since the pattern is relatively subtle even at full size, but I think the shading you used works quite well! Also nice to see some Marines in the current digital pattern with the new body armor. Most modern Marine minis I've seen lately have been from the 2003 invasion period, and are BDU desert with the woodland pattern Interceptor vests which, while striking, are probably a bit easier to execute as the patterns aren't quite as subtle as the new digital desert pattern.
Anyway, it's cool to see some even more modern moderns!

Thanks Hordini... I spent alot of time working out how to get just the effect you mention.
The pattern is so subtle it tends to fade out in real life at any distance. As I didnt want an oversized, cartoony look to the camo I used a drybrush to the basic colour followed by a Devlin Mud/Varnish mix to get the pattination effect to suggest the camo.
Have to say Elhiem Figures are my favourites in 20mm at the moment... Though I am biased, I know the owner very well and do sculpting for them! Have to say though, the owner who sculpted these has only been sculpting for two years! Utterly self taught, and getting better with every sculpt he does. I love the animation on the models and if you look, every single one is a different pose.

First of all your minis look fantastic. I have seen both your marines and Taliban fighters and both are fantastically done.
Secondly, what game is this?
Lastly a few points of realism that you may or may not know (I understand model ranges are limited but maybe something you want to convert later...
1. Your 240b team would be using a bipod at the minimum (my unit never carried our tripod in favor of more ammunition) and would be generally firing from a prone position or using some sort of obstacle. I only know of a few individuals that can fire a 240b from the shoulder and they usually have nicknames like "moose" and even then their fires are inaccurate.
2. Designated marksmen (in my unit at least) are equipped with m14 which have a distinct look compared to the usual m4. Couldn't really tell a difference from the pictures.
3. The compound clearance photo looks great but a firefeam about to enter and clear would stand down the wall or off at an angle rather than directly in front of the door to avoid the possibility of rounds being blindly shot through the door at you (wooden doors don't stop 7.62mm very well)
Again fantastic job and I hope I didn't come off as "that guy", just wanted to share some knowledge.

The game is 'Ambush Alley: Force-on-Force'. Its just under going a re-write before being published by Osprey.
I left off all the bipods from the 240 and the SAWs as they tend to come off in gaming. The Elhiem figures come with seperate ones. Some of my gaming buddies have sausage fingers and bipods on 20mm figures dont stay one for long...
The DMs in the above pics have Mk11s and M14EBRs. Both are quite distinctive on the models in the 'flesh' so to speak.
The compound clearance pic is just that... a pic for a book to show off the models. Im trying to persuade the sculpter to do an entry 'stack' set of figures.
