Playing tons of Daemon games, and winning quite a few tournaments with them, I thought I'd toss in my 2 cents. I recommend going with Soul Grinders OR Daemon Princes: don't take both-a single grinder will be wiped out by a single melta shot (trust me, found this out the hard way). Run 3 Grinders or 3 Princes. I feel like Slaanesh and Nurgle Princes are your best friends: not too keen on Khorne or Tzeentch Princes. Bloodcrushers and Flamers are both AMAZING elite units, but Bloodcrushers should have a herald in with them: Skulltaker is great, even though some argue against his points, his ability to insta-kill characters and monsters is not to be taken lightly (Nids and C'tan WILL fear that unit) Got to go though: work starting. I'll add more later

you dont need so many icons... thats alot of points you have wasted. at the most take two, one in each wave. if you must have them, put one on the crushers in your primary wave and one on your plague bearers in your secondary wave. those being your hardest units to kill will help ensure that they are still around when you need them.

i agree with the above post, go with 3 of one or the other. that grinder will get insta gibbed. i will say that the tzeentch princes is boss! hes got a 4++ so half the wounds he takes he will save, and he can take bolt of tzeentch, a must have at popping tanks, and in a daemons army you need all the ranged anti tank you can get!

give you herald of tzeentch a chariot, its an amazing must have imo, for 15 points. make the plague unit with out the icon smaller, bust the horror unit into two 5 man units. one with changling and bolt, and one with just bolt (again gotta pop tanks).

the masque can be good but is very hard to use, id recommend dropping for another herald of tzeentch, or a khorne herald on jugger. take all the upgrades off the prince except for mark of tz and bolt. the other options are too expensive and not needed, run at least two of these.

Don't use the Masque - shes a T3 IC, even a 3+ inv won't save her when the enemy starts shooting. If you want to use Pavene, you're better off taking the Blue Scribes and hiding them in a unit of Horrors. Unlike the Masque, the Blue Scribes can fulfill a number of rolls, which is especially helpful if you face a lot of Mech and you can't Pavene much.

3 Grinders or Princes are usually the way to go. As a demons player you should ideally fill out your HQ and Heavy Support before moving on to troops and elites, and then if there is any room left get some fast attack. I personally prefer the Grinders, w/o Phlegm or Tongue, and just run them at the enemy.
