As part of my local store's Warmachine/Hordes Tale of Many Gamers League, I decided to finally paint up a Khador army I hadn't touched. I'll be using this blog to document the progress of the army, as well as for photographic proof of trying to meet each painting deadline.

So without furter ado, here's what I have so far...

My WIP Kommander Sorscha, just a few details left to paint.

Another view of Kommander Sorscha.

And my very WIP Destroyer and Juggernaut.

I'm hoping to finish these guys up before the weekend, and get my first game of Warmachine in. After these will be a squad of Widowmakers, which I can't wait for.

I hope to update a bit more frequently than my Chaos Titan blog (which is on hiatus, but I hope to finish soon). I hope everyone enjoys it, as always comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Nice work on the coat of Sorcha, also the dark red looks fine. A well done variation on the studio paint job, I haven't seen red-brown Khador before.

The widowmakers are nice figs, they are a joy to paint especially the Kapitan. Can't wait for your take on them.

Thank you Metsuri, I appreciate it. I was thinking the studio paint jobs were always a little too bright, so wanted to tone down my army and go for a more muted color...hopefully it works out.

I was able to finish my Sorscha figure, so below are a few more photos. It was my first attempt at source lighting with the hammer vents, and I'm still trying to come up with a unifying basing theme, which is why this one is not based yet. I'll probably do them all at the same time when the army is finished.

I haven't had a chance to update the blog, but here are my latest photos:

Squad of Widowmakers - These were completed as part of the 2nd stage of the league

Squad of Assault Kommandoes - These were just finished and are part of the 3rd stage of the league

I hope to have better photos of the entire army in progress shortly.

Finally had some time to take a bit better photos of the Widowmaker Squad and Widowmaker Marksman. While I started off strictly painting GW models, I've really come to like some of the Privateer Press stuff. In particular I think the Widowmaker Kapitan and Marksman are some really well sculped models.

It's a little hard to make out the details, so please feel free to zoom in as they're the hi-rez files.

Here is the first shot of the entire unit

And a second shot of the unit

A shot of the Widowmaker Kapitan

A shot of the Widowmaker Marskman

And one more shot of the Widowmaker Marksman
