Might seem like an odd question but I have the following scenario in mind:

A WWP is dropped and some Incubi with a Haemonculus come out. Can the Haemonculus use the reserves movement to ditch the Incubi, leaving his pain token with them, granting them FNP and allowing the Incubi to use their fleet move.

Thanks for any help guys

Arriving from reserves is deployment, to begin the game already attached then they must be deloyed in coherency.
IC can only leave units be moving out of coherancy.
Putting a unit in reserve is not deploying them, it's the alternative.
When in reserves the IC is not actually joined it's joining when their deployed etc. I think that's the main points of the argument.

No.
An IC may not leave the unit it deploys with in the turn it arrives.
GW FAQ refers.

Do you have a link to the FAQ? I checked just before posting and could have sworn there wasn't anything in it.

Its on GW's website in the 40K section under 'gaming articles'.

The ruling in question is in the rulebook FAQ.

That's quite helpful thank you. I usually just google something to the effect of "5th edition faq" or "(insert faction here) faq"

I probably got an older version on my search then.
