Lost in Warp... again

So, I realize I'm a few years (editions?) late with this, but anyone else remember 5th edition when Bretonnians could get wizards trained at the Colleges of Magic? And some of the background stories in the 6th edition Army Book implied that was still happening.

So... my question is, if for fluff reasons I decide that my damsel was trained in Beast Lore in Altdorf, anyone else think it funny that a prissy and proper lady was taught the arts of sorcery by a half-wild man covered in lion skins and wielding a tree limb for a staff? You'd almost think they're prissy and pompous because they're trying to not emulate their teachers....

Anyone else have interesting fluff quirks they'd like to share?

that's one of the main reasons I take a Damsel. Nothing more hilarious than having a prissy princess turn into a savage hydra. How's that for mood backlash? XD

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
