If you've played Left for Dead, have you ever wondered what would happen if a horde of tanks accompanied the horde? That idea led me to this idea for a list I'd like to see on the table.

No Vehicles, just a lot of twisted creations that don't feel pain...and some Wyches

I think I would use this basic plan:
Urien will try to make the Grotesques fearless. Wracks lead the charge with FNP with plenty of spacing to avoid multi-assault. The Grotesques advance in the gaps between the Wracks. The Engines stay just behind the Wracks. The Wyches either patiently march with the blob or they run after threatening armor.

So would this list put up a fight?

Looks cool, the non wyche elements will defiantly put up a fight but...

The wyches are walking/fleeting. If you opponent gets a clear shot at them then you might as well forget that they were there in the first place. I would, instead, either get them transports somehow or drop them for more wracks (or maybe scrouges, I have a feeling they'd fit into a heamoculi covern if converted correctly)

Yeah wyches are weak, even IG flashlights wipe them. Id drop em for more wracks or even scourges like wizard said. Reavers would be good too, you can turbo boost and use them as a distraction.

I'm sorry, but I'm finding it hard to ever imagine this list closing on anyone. How are you going to get across the field?

If you want a foot slogging army, you need one venom or raider and one of those hemies needs a webway portal or three.

Have to agree, Darkfootdar can probably be better with the use of WWP. Also imo I think 2 cheaper haemonculus might fare better than 1 ancient, plus they can give out more tokens

Purely Foot based lists either need to be strong in assault and be able to get there quickly (BA Assault Squads with JPs or in this case a WWP) or have enough firepower so that they don't really have to bother moving at all (Guard and Tau gunlines). Simply trying to walk across the field with everything doesn't work. The Wyches in particular won't work very well as they are the most fragile elements in the list but are also the fastest and don't want to be stuck behind the Wracks.

I would strongly suggest taking some Harliequins with a Shadowseer (clown Zombies?) and another Haemonculi with a WWP. Running two Haemonculi with WWPs would be better actually, even if they are both in the same 10 man Harlie unit if you spread them out to max coherency you are still going to have them far enough apart. Deploy just the Harlies + Portal carriers with everything else in reserve. With Veil of Tears you can freely move up turn 1 and drop 1 of the Portals, turn 2 half your force arrives and you move up another 6" and drop the second Portal for anything which arrives turn 3. To get the points for this I would drop the Chronos (you have more than enough Pain Tokens already) and 1-2 of the Wych units (I would rather take 1-2 bigger properly loaded up units than 3 naked units in any case).

You are going to be relying on killing vehicles in melee, which isn't ideal, but you probably have enough high strength attacks to make it work and have backup from the Haywires in case you run in to AV14.
