Well, long time been the Black Corsairs, then fruit of my boredom, i started to repaint them, so, i need a bit of help for their new name, i'm tired of strangle my brain finding it, i ask you for hints, that they have "sand color", their decal is a Scimitar (muslim-like), they are dark skinned, and even black, and last, they are tied to the Black Corsairs (they are the first company)
and last but not least, no relationship with Islam

A good idea may be to rsearch famous formation of warriors from sandy places... like the persian Immortals etc

Wait so they are brown then? Whatever, just knowing there is something vaguely middle-eastern inspired makes me happy. Now my dark eldar won't be the only dusky skinned people around the block.

Also how about Sandy Super Soldiers?

Immortals or The Emperor's Cataphracts would be nice.

you call the chapter The Emperor's Cataphracts and call the 1st company veterans Immortals.

Skin colour comes from the mediterrarean tanned skin to black (well,dark Brown) with the exception of the first company (they was the Black Corsairs) who had more variety of skin tones due to the fluff, conveniently erased by the Inquisition, and kept secret for the librarians and the chapter master Flint...

How about naming them after one of the desert winds that bring the dust storms to various part so the world?
