Once a Llaelese noble turned to the vile arts of necromancy, the Thamarite called the Ragman has been drawn to the battlefields of western Immoren by the palpable odor of death. As he picks among the dead for his unnatural purposes, his profane magic lets him kill with a glance and animate his victims to serve him.

A Thamarite!

Not sure what to think about the Kaya variant. I'm excited that some of the Hordes
warlocks will have variant models. I've never been too keen on some of them. But I'm
not sure if this variant of Kaya is good enough to get me to want to field my Circle force.

Finally, some more Thamarites! Guy looks pretty cool too.

Kaya should totally be rocking out on a guitar instead of holding her staff.

I could see that Kara model air-guitaring or something... IDK.

Interested in this Ragman, but IMHO a man with a sack on his head who has SOMEthing to do with death is a bit cliche... but eh, I'll bite.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

Not a fan of the Kaya variant. I really liked the original though so it's probably a bit bias...or it could be the bad pose.

I wonder if this is a way of releasing the battle box casters on their own. If I recall correctly you cannot get them on out side of battle boxes. Kaya is a bit meh, the pose is more natural than the original.

The Ragman look interesting, good to see them expand on the subsections with the new releases.

Ragman looks awesome.
Boat not floating for Kaya, though I don't dig the crazy arm angle on the previous one.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I prefer the old Kaya myself.

As he picks among the dead for his unnatural purposes,

Something like Alexia/Necrosurgeon: corpse tokens.

his profane magic lets him kill with a glance

So, something like the Cyclops Shaman or Skorne Extoller direct attack. There is also the possibility of a spray like the Basalisk Drake.

animate his victims to serve him.

As said in many places, reverse Alexia risen, where he has to create them instead of start with them, but they are maybe a little better statwise because he has to build it up from scratch....else, it could be linked to his 'glance of death' in which.................it's like Moshar's Crevasse mixed with Hexeris' feat, and Mordikaar Essense blast where you have a RoF1 direct damage attack and if you kill something, you get to move that guy 3" or advance and then a short spray using the models statistics.

/shrug...just making random guess .

They did this with the Warmachine casters. Though it's been a bit longer wait for hordes.

I love the Ragman, and Kaya's pretty good except for her head.

I don't mind this Kaya. She could be used in a D&D game as a druid or something, unlike most casters who are a bit over the top. This is nice an simple, and a solid model.

Ragdude? Meh.

I actually like the Kaya model quite a bit! I also wonder if the angle of the photo might be letting the model down a bit, and it'd look better on the table from an above-ish perspective.

Could be. I dislike the head and hair in this one compared to the old. At this angle is appears her head is not centered on her shoulders.

I don't need another Kaya but it's good that the starter box casters are getting new sculpts.

Looking forward to Ragman. I wonder if he'll make the Fiona theme list more playable. I also wonder which Factions he'll work for.

It certainly looks better in the 360 that is available in PPs site. The awkward photos seem to be a reoccuring problem for PP, a lot of their figs look a lot better in flesh.

Wonder if this means new battleboxes like WM or just alternate sculpts out of blister...

Both. I heard that plastic starter boxes are on the way.

Although from what I gather all it not well with plastics at PP.
