Does anyone have pics or links to buildings made up of the Imperial sector kits which do not follow the GW standard template?
I will soon be building mine and want to build three of the six that I have below differently:
standard large building from sector set
Basilica Administratum x2
Sanctum Imperialis
Manufactorum x2
The instructions in the kit have variations but frankly Im not impressed with them. My idea is to build the two manifacs to have a sort of mini industrial sector and probably a basiliica.
After that Im open to ideas!

I'd lay out all the frames in front of me and see that that fits with that from that frame, and that with this from that frame and just go through building with what fits together. Unless you desperately want identifiable Manufactorums etc that could give some varied buildings. Unless, you want 6 buildings, try making a larger bulding with components from two or make a large and a small.
Does that answer your question, reading it back it reads like a ramble

Here's a some of the variants I come up with from the standard kits.
As well as the sector I used a shrine of the aquilla and an extra basilca kit. I also added the resin 40k barricade kits which fit in really well with the building kits. Just match the details.
One I'm working on.
And one I've finished.

Really like the third/fourth image BB, they are the same piece just a front/back shot?
So basically the basillicum with added extras?

Thanks.
The third and forth are the same building.
It a full sanctum imperiallis kit and a shrine of the aquilla kit combined, with the resin barricades that match to complete the outline of the building.
Another thing that would match this and I'm trying to fit mines into this piece is the ruin from the honoured imperium kit. It has the same arched window as the shrine of the aquilla kit.

Is that some sort of board or what, I see terrain mounted on that from time to time, looks like a clipboard material.
I also like the cool tile....very cool.

I've used two types of backing boards for my scenery.
Both are roughly 1.5mm thick.
One is the backing for an old wardrobe I had (the stiffer of the two) and the other is material I bought from the local DIY shop.
