Below is my first real crack at Dark Eldar. I thought I'd start small and work my way up.

Archon, Shadow Field, Agoniser, Combat Drugs

8 Wyches, Hydra Gauntlet
1 Hekatrix, Agonizer
Raider, Dark Lance, Flickerfield

10 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster, Splinter Cannon
Raider, Dark Lance, Flickerfield, Splinter Racks

5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster
Venom, 2 Splinter Cannon

5 Kabalite Trueborn, 3 Shardcarbines, Splinter Cannon, Dark Lance

Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfield, Nightshield
Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfield, Nightshield

Thoughts:

My Archon will join the Wyches and help to wipe out anything that needs some killin. I am planning on using this unit to finish off what has already been shot up.

The Kabalite Warriors in the Raider shoot the jucy insides of vehicles that have bit some Dark Lances.

Venom Kalabite Warriors are also for some more shooting and last minute objective grabs.

Kabalite Trueborn will deploy into cover and snipe at targets of opportunity, generally making themselves so annoying that they have to be dealt with.

Concerns:

even though most squads have some form of Anti-tank weapon mech will still be hard to deal with.

I am thinking of dropping the nightshields from the Ravagers and getting the Wyches Haywire Grenades as they have no way to deal with walkers.

Please feel free to comment and add to this.

My first thoughts:
1k game, too many points in the HQ. A Succubus may make a better selection at such a low point game. You get combat drugs standard, it'll have a 4++ save in cc. You can add on an agoniser and save 35 points.

One of the best things you can do with DE is bring a lot more KP than the other guy. If you have twice as many targets than they can shoot at, then half your army is safe from being shot in turn 1. We don't eat bullets well.

Again, low point game, the ravagers could do without the nightshields.

The wych unit, scratch the gauntlet and 1 wych. You basically just want an agoniser delivery service. Extra S3 attacks aren't going to do much for 20 points. It still leaves 8 models, 9 including the HQ, so you still have to take more than 2 wounds before 25% losses. Wyches are really good tarpit units. You basically just want to find something weak to jump on that will take a couple of turns to kill off. I would actually consider dropping a couple of wyches more to prevent being too killy. You want to kill the squad in their turn, not yours or you'll find out just how good that 6+ save against shooting is.

Trueborn, if you're going to make a sniper squad, I would put 2 dark lances in there and drop the s.cannon and carbines. The carbines are useless firing at vehicle as well as the cannoon. 1 Dark lance just isn't that likely to do much good. Your points even out there and you have 3 cheap models to allot wounds to before you kill off the lances.

The warriors are more a matter of taste. I don't put much stock in 1 shot against vehicles. You essentially waste all of your other shots if you shoot at a vehicle b/c they can't hurt it.

You have room to save points and beef up some of the smaller squads and/or try and fit another cheap squad of something in there like scourges or reavers packing Heat lances if you can cut enough. Maybe even switch to a single Haemonculus with agoniser and save 30 more points and gain a pain token for the wyches at the start. (careful, you'll lose fleet that way).

Good luck.

Here is my second go:

Haemonculus, Agoniser, Liquifier

8 Wyches
1 Hekatrix, Agonizer
Raider, Dark Lance, Flickerfield

10 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster, Splinter Cannon
Raider, Dark Lance, Flickerfield, Splinter Racks

5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster
Venom, 2 Splinter Cannon

5 Kabalite Trueborn, 2 Dark Lance
Venom, 2 Splinter Cannon

Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfield, Nightshield
Ravager, 3 Dark Lances, Flickerfield, Nightshield

My Haemonculus will join the Wyches. Depending on the situation he will either go with them and use the Agonizer or stay in the Raider, give the pain token to the squad and support them with the Liquifer Gun.

I added a Venon for the Kalibite Trueborn so they can either sit in the backfirld in cover and snipe vehicles, or go with the Venom and provide mobile fire support.

I was thinking of adding a Hex Rifle to the Haemonculus for some sniping instant death love...

If I have added this correctly I have:

1 Liquifier
15 Splinter Rifles
2 Blasters
5 Splinter Cannons
9 Splinter Pistols
10 Dark Lances

What say you now?

If you take the venom with the trueborn squad, I wouldn't deploy them in it. Instead, I would deploy them in cover and use the venom as mobile cover for your wych boat. That way whatever shoots at them has to be able to see through/around the venom or can't hit it at all. You won't really gain any mobility mounting them in the venom b/c if the venom moves, your dark lances can't fire b/c they're heavy weapons.

If you wanted, you could drop the trueborn's venom, the 2 nightshields and 1 wych. If you can find 10 more points, maybe another wych, you can throw in a base ravager.
