Hey dakka. I am still hoping to find some extra cash laying around after the holidays to fund a WoC army. However, I was wondering if any of you had some suggestions for making plastic Chosen. My plan was to purchase 3 battalion boxes to make my army. It would consist of

DP - already have
BSB - not sure what I will do for him yet (I think I would be able to make a distinct enough BSB from left over bits)
18 warriors - from battalion
2x30 marauders - from battalion
2x5 hounds - from battalion
17 chosen - was hoping to convert from remaining warriors in battalion and extra knight bits
6-7 knights - from battalion
2x warshrines - was thinking of using hounds to pull a shrine (not very intimidating but would use the extra hounds from battalions.

What do you guys think? I like the chosen models but I would like to keep the cost down. What have you guys used for chosen?

Warriors with a more snazzy paint job would be fine really. Although giving them the knights' lances(for halberds) and helms would not go amiss. You could also mix the chaos mutation spue in there too. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440335a&prodId=prod1290060

Thanks. I was hoping the lances and heads from the knights would be enough. I was trying to keep them looking as human as possible. Now I just need it to start raining money.

Before the last Warriors of Chaos release, Chaos Chosen were represented by the same models as the standard Chaos Warriors. I can't see any harm in continuing with this practice. Just make them look a bit different.

You could also pick up the chosen head bitz from GW for variety.
