Hello,

I've started painting my Salamanders, So far its the Librarian and 1 1/2 Tac Squads that I have almost done. I need to get some paints for the gold, base, and get a yellow for the flames I will be painting on the Cloths.

So without further ado, here they are, again they aren't done, I will update as they go.

This is a couple pictures of my Librarian, I need to finish the Paper on his shoulderpad/highlight it, paint his Aquila, the gold, Banner, Waistcloth, skin/hair, and highlight the runes on the sword.

Hers some pictures of the tac squads (Second hand, so some of the paint didn't cover amazingly (The bolters).), I got to get yellow for the eyes, gold for the Eagles, Skulls, etc., Highlight the black, and some transfers.

(Bolters not done)

Tell me what you guys think, next thing is more Tac Squads, then either Dreads, Sternguard, or Termies/Land Raider.

Sorry about the semi poor paint job, I'm still improving, but I thought I might as well make a WIP thread.

(Sorry about the huge pictures.)

Looking like a good start, I play sallies too so they are dear to my heart. May I suggest using a black wash on your the areas where you have boltgun it will give you some automatic shading on those areas.

I like how you stuck with the dark brown skin tone, what all do you have to paint?

Thanks guys, and yes rangor, I figured if I'm doing Salamanders why not keep with their ethnicity. What exactly do you mean what all do you have to paint, I am sorry.
