I think you should add something in the middle, perhaps bodies from both sides, not yet decomposed. Even without that, looks good, great job.

Looks nicely done although they're both red, :/ needs to have something to mark them more apart.

Also, big space in the middle.

Good though.

Expect my posts to have a bazillion edits. I miss out letters, words, sometimes even entire sentences in my points and posts.

Good attempt!

To make it more dramatic, perhaps position the axe so that it is pointing at the warrior priest and the head of the chaos warrior angled down a bit so that he is staring right at the warrior priest. Right now, their eyes don't really seem to be meeting.

Maybe they want to fight because their outfits clash, and they need to fix the fashion situation with violence, being men of war.

I was thinking of adding more flames to the chaos warrior though.

I thought about putting something in the middle, but I don't have the parts for bodies from either side. So I tried to make it look like they were challenging each other from across some untouched battlefield between the opposing forces. Should I add anything?

Warrior priest looks awfully static. A pose with some more motion from him would make a big difference. Chaos warrior looks pretty good though.

Since they are painted very similarly, and with the Warrior priests almost timid pose. It almost seems the Chaos champion is telling a fleeing marauder to "Get back in the action fool !"

The painting is nice though.

Interesting idea. I think it would have been better composed on a base half the size, so that the combatants are closer. Right now, you have an awful lot of grey dead space.
