My friend decided to switch from BT to imperial fists and had never played my BA's. We rolled annihilation/DOW, he went first.2000pts. Quick report not a lot of detail

His list as far i know:

Lysanander w/sternguard all had combi meltas in drop pod

4 tac squads w/ power fists, meltas, in rhinos

3 vindis

2 speeders w/multimeltas

1 scout squad with camo cloak and sniper rifles

maybe missing stuff he did proxy with empty bases

My list:

Reclusiarch in TA w/ 5 termies in LRR

4 tac squads in rhinos w/meltas

2 baal preds w/ AC

1 vindi

1 dread w/ AC

1st turn



his drop pod came in and brought my LRR forward to wipe all his sternguard and managed to put a wound on a lysander!






2nd turni. He blew up one my rhinos! I blew up one of his and flamestormed the squad inside with my LRR



shot his vindis and did nothing i took the gun off one with a baal pred and made sure the other vindi


3rd turn

he took out another rhino and assaulted my squad. lysander beat the heck out of my squad, but i managed another wound on him. He took the turret off my baal and took out the last remaining 3 of the squad i previously flamestormed. I finished off the drop pod took the weapons off one speeder and destroyed the other with meltas from my rhinos. His remaining vindis whiffed again btw lol



4th turn

lysander finished off all but my sarge, which failed leadership and ran. His vindi immobilized my vindi. And he took out two more rhinos with meltaguns. I shot at lysander with a baal pred and finished him off! I took out another vindi with my LRR, and assaulted his squads. The entire game he shot his scouts at my rhinos and did nothing.My dread made sure the other vindi couldnt shoot .





5th turn

Just a lot of assaults nothing much happened, afterwards my oppenent conceded 10-3 kp's

Wow, I guess this is what happens when you take as few expensive units as is possible - they die and you lose. I'm a little surprised that your opponent let you flamestorm so much (the bit with the sternguard especially hurt). When he's bringing so few models, losing any one of them hurts just that much more.

In any case, you dished out a well-deserved stomping, and with nice pictures to boot!

Nice pictures, I hope your opponent took it as a learning experience and did not get discouraged!

Seems like he may have gotten too close tot he LRR, but it is hard to tell!

Why did you not show the bucket of baby kittens under the table you kept threatening to stomp if he did not botch his rolls.

How did you do the land raider terrain? I have a spare crappy one that I picked up for $10 and I really want to do some terrain with it so I would like to know how you cut it in half and made it look so cool?
