The 2010 UK 40k Masters will be held on the 15th/16th January 2011 at Maelstrom Games. This is the first ever Masters event, with the aim for the tournament to become one of the highlights of the year.

The field is made up of the top 16 ranked players in the country according to Ranking HQ. In addition we will also be running the a side event: The 40k Open, which is open to everyone.

The line-up for the first ever 40k Masters Event is now confirmed, the 16 players, in ranking order, are:

Well done to you all.

Only one person can't make it, and that is due to pre-arranged plans. As Allen El-Sour, who is currently ranked 7th can’t make it, his place was offered to the player ranked 17th, which is James Ramsay.

It is great to see so many accept the invitation, it is set to be a fantastic weekend of gaming.

I will take this opportunity to remind all players that Army Lists must be submitted no later than 12:00pm on Sunday the 2nd of January 2011.

The 40k Open.

In addition to the Masters we will also be running the 40k Open Event. There are 30 places available and the event is run alongside the Masters, this is to allow all players to take part in the Masters weekend and enjoy the atmosphere of the event.
