I've always kind of wanted to build a deathwing army, being that its the total opposite of the orks I currently play, and since the black reach termies are now so cheap I just might. So I wanted to ask the deathwing players out there for any tips or suggestions regarding tactics or lists. Also are they a viable tourny army? I don't hear about them very much.

Well, Deathwing is still viable. Some say that dual wing is better.
I played DW several times in RTTs and they never disappointed me, usually I got 2nd and this was last year.

I'd take Belial with dual lightning claws,
several DW units, each with assault cannon or cyclone,
one with Apothecary.
This should be the core of the army.

You have the bikes for speed and teleport homers, so the termies can port in with no error.

I personally own a 2K Deathwing list that's 31 Terminators, and two Dreadnaughts.

It's a fun list, but it's a definite uphill battle.

An alfstrike shriek/gates of infinaty is also cool. But you need diferent terminators then...
