Okay, I've seen this movie twice, and I finally have decided what I think of it. Between the sweeping score and the floating camera work, it really does seem like you're following Nina around, experiencing a life that would, in all honesty, drive anyone insane. This movie in a lot of ways reminds me of other intensely imersive films like Insomnia and Falling Down, where we see a character who is trapped in a situation that is rapidly spiraling out of control, and there is always a defining moment where they figure out that the only thing to do is gun it full-speed and push through to the end, whatever end that is.
