Subject: What powers to choose for a Single Space Wolf Rune Priest in a Mech list?
Fury of the Wolf Spirits - considered inferior to Living Lightning because of extremely low 12 inch range and on average less shots at lower strength.
Jaws of the Warpwolf - the bane of low initiative armies. Great against Tyranids, Chaos or Orks. Not so good against high initiative armies.
Living Lighting - the living auto cannon power. Good for more ranged fire but you already have long fangs and razorbacks.
Murderous Hurricane - can be good versus jump infantry and bikes.
Storm caller - Vehicle cover saves are nice if advancing in formation but the blood angel version is better since you can use other powers during your turn.
Tempests Wrath - This seems pretty nice versus demons as well as skimmer armies like dark eldar, eldar and to a lesser extent guard with valkyries and storm raven armies. Usefulness depends on popularity of those armies in your area.
Thunder clap - Not very useful as range is poor and strength 3.
I been taking Storm caller and Jaws of the Warp Wolf on my rune priest. Cover saves for vehicles are extremely useful and the ability to character snipe and take out powerfists along with Tervigons and Tyranofexs with one shot can be game winning.
