Hello well I am starting a Salamanders army and I would like to know how you guys paint your Salamanders that isn't to difficult.
I have painted one already and I will post pics.

Armies:
Catachan
Tau
Tyranids
Space Marines

Go these three things.

Army Painter Greenskin spray
GW Badab Black wash
Some Dark Angels green.

Spray the whole thing with the spray.
give a liberal wash of badab black.
highlight with dark angels green.
Win?

I find its best to black out anything not going to be green with chaos black before doing the wash.

I have done my entire Ultramarine 8th company like this(except blue of course)

Or you can spray prime them black, paint them Snot Green, and give them a Thrakka Green wash. Leave shoulderpads and whatever black, paint the eyes the yellow of your choice. Metals are just Boltgun Metal with a Badab Black wash.

This'll produce much lighter green Marines than Titanbravo's technique, while still being a nice mid green.

I guess it comes down to how dark do you want your Marines.

I prefer to go on the darker side, especially for a base coat, that and I love cutting corners, with sprays being the fast way to get a basecoat on.

i play salamanders as well, what i did was.
-primed black
-first coat of dark angels green
-dry brushed snot green for armor wear and tear.
-dry brushed the bolter with bolt gun metal for the wear and tear look
-painted shoulders and backpack black
-painted the eyes blazing orange.
-painted the wings with burnished gold
-for basing, i put on the citadel sand, and painted it codex gray (dry brush for best effect) and paint around the base codex grey for a mountain side look. and profit
-if you want you can get some skorpion green and paint the armor highlights with it, but i dont have a steady enough hand.

You need to upload them to a image sharing site and then post the relevant links here.
