Hey all. This is my first attempt at looting a landraider into a battlewagon
Part 1:Now I have already done a little work on it but i attempted to construct a deff rolla, and failed epicly so i would LOVE a little advice on building a deffrolla.

Part 2: Plasticard? i kind of have an idea about what it is but where do you get it? and how do you use it?

i've never built one but i've seen several threads here descend into name calling about the size of some of the deffrolla scratchbuilds out there. my advice is however you build it, make sure you stay as close as possible to the GW dimensions of the official conversion kit to avoid trouble on the tabletop.

Here's my two examples, more pic sin the gallery.

V1 uses two 40mm bases for the 'caps', with lots of plasticard to make a tube and worky bits from several sources including a sentinel lascannon:




V2 uses two old paint pots stuck together, with some wheels from a car toy, but still needs some more messing around with:

from a store, like walmart or ralphs , go to the cash register and ask for the empty receipt rolls, its a good size, then take your card stock and cut out some rectangles to cover it up, dont make em even straight for an ork look, then cut some spikes from the card stock and you should have a fairly sturdy deffroller
