Archon w Soul Trap, Shadowfield, 2 x Djinn Blades, with points add Drug Dispenser and PGL.
If I am right this is 6 attacks base on the charge and then 2 x 2 extra attacks if you don't roll doubles. With the right drugs, 10 attacks should do quite well and if 1 MC or IC bites it, we are talking all at increased strength.
Think this is crazy build?
My standard archon is Splinter pistol & Agonizer, Drug dispenser, PGL and shadowfield. It is cheaper and dependable but not a potential powerhouse.
If I do it, I would like to come up with a cool way to make the blades out of some clear translucent material not just represented by painting.

I don't think you can take the Djin blade twice.
Other than that, sounds cool.
So far I've just been running Soul Trap, Shadowfield, Drugs & Huskblade.

The soul trap is interesting but some armies don't even have ICs to eat with it, and even when an army has ICs your archon may never even touch that unit.

Personally not a fan of Archons with the Soutrap combo simply because it is hard to get them into CC with an enemy IC. Also, one Djinn Blade per Archon I believe.
Now, having that Archon as a CC specialist period would be rather scary, so I would suggest dropping the Soultrap and spending the points on the PGL or Drug Dispenser.

I wonder about the soultrap too. It is hard to find either a MC in an opponents army, and it is also hard to find an IC that you can get to and kill.
As far as the huskblade goes, killing multi-wound models is nice, but you are only strength 3, so doing a wound to them is tough or you will go up against someone with eternal warrior. Also if you are going against single wound models (which is what you will face 95% of the time) you will have trouble wounding. Wounding MEQs on a 5+ will sure slow you down in a character that should be a killer in assault.

This was my pick in the past and will be the pick in the new incarnation of the codex.
Drugs are not mandatory as the Lord hardly benefits from them.
I'd give her haywires and drop the PGL if she's not accompanying Incubi (but say Wyches).

I think drugs are a great investment for 10 points. Only the +1 WS isn't great. Rerolling failed wounds, an extra attack and +1 str are all pretty nice? Best, of course, is the free pain point...now any squad with drugs he's with gets 2 to start with, and that's not too shabby.
You can go the cheap route on archons, and get something like venom blade, splinter pistol, ghostplate, drugs. He'll die against stiff opposition, but he'll chew up light infantry on his own and will help wych squads generate more wounds against tougher targets.
I've been playing with an archon with: husk blade, soul trap, splinter pistol, drugs, ghost plate, clone field. I figured it wouldn't be the most efficient loadout, but I've actually been pretty pleased so far. He's killed several ICs in the course of a few games, helps give a wych squad a little more melee power, and can tie up certain units with his clone field as he whittles them down. Best, though, is the paranoia he causes in my opponents. They really view him rushing in and killing their expensive HQ as a real threat and my primary goal, so they act very oddly. Not sure how to explain it, as it's different in most games, but you can tell the archon pwning their HQ is really worrying them.

I run my Archon w/ Huskblade, Shadowfield, Soul Trap, and PGL. He accompanies my Incubi into combat. It is common, but anything that squad touches tends to flail around helplessly and die.

I run the archon with Agonizer, Drugs shadow field. And if he runs with the incubi (i find it hard not too) then he gets the PGL as well.

I've been using the Huskblade/Soultrap combination, and I have had the 'Trap trigger in roughly 2/3 of the games. In fact, I geeked a Trygon on Wednesday night with it

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

I was thinking the soultrap/huskblade combo might be easier to pull off if you've got a unit of hellions dragging IC's to him.
Otherwise...Vect is my build for an Archon.

The first batch of options for the archon allow you to switch for two items in first section. Doesn't say you can only take certain options once.

Well, the context where I made this statement was that the Archon has an agonizer.

Have you found the huskblade to be worthwhile? I just can't see it being worth the 35 points at S3. I'd rather take the cheaper Whip, and gimp my target's chances of hurting me
