In the Dark Heresy rule expansion the radicals handbook theres a weapon that a dark adeptus mechanicus made which uses the still living brains of psykers. I imagine they'd see them as tools (like in the extreme example above)

Once more down to the beach, dear friends, once more,
To drown our sorrows with our English beer!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility;
But when the blast of alcohol blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger:
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood. |

Dunno. I always thought they ignored them as it mainly had nothing to do with them and being AdMech they wouldn't be bothered with anything unless it fell within their specific field of expertise.

In Kyoto's favorite novel, Mechanicus, the use of psykers is tolerated within the cult. Tolerated, not encouraged.

Remember that the Adeptus Mechanicus have Magos Biologis as well. The Mechanicum isn't just interested in mechanical objects and math. Instead, they are obsessed with knowledge, and what can be classified and categorized. The Omnissiah is the Omnissiah by virtue of his dominion over knowledge of all sorts.
Given that psychic powers arise from mutation, I would be highly surprised if the AdMech doesn't have a large amount of research being done on this very topic. I suspect that they would have very little patience for the "mumbo-jumbo", hokum, and "woo-woo" surrounding psychic phenomena, though. A device which destroys a psychic to support the Emperor would be AdMech approved; a rune-priest's trinket-covered staff would instead be looked on as a valid physical underpinning with a lot of extraneous frippery.
