I got a White Dwarf Subscription in a Box for Christmas. My wife ordered it from GW's website. When I opened the box, all that was in it was the mini. Is there anything I'm supposed to do to activate this? It says on the box to bring it to a GW workshop store counter. Too bad the nearest one is a few hundred miles away.

You shouldn't need to do anything, the sub should be setup to be sent to the same address as the box. When we sell the "sub in a box" instore we run 'em through the web terminal to activate the sub, then just run the box through the till. To be on the safe side though, give Customer Services a bell when they re-open after Christmas!

Thanks for the info. That will be good to know, considering my wife had this stuff ordered to her work address.

As I say, give Customer Services a ring, and they can get it all cleared up, and if need be get the address changed for the sub deliveries

Yeah, you'll need to get the address changed as your GW website registration details are used AFAIK... if she is registered on the site with her work address then that's where they're going to start turning up.
