Well, as topic name states. What's the best setup for a BW when your gonna fill it with burna boys?

I'm converting my own BW so I want to make it as WYSIWYG as possible.

edit: Any tips on making a battlewagon out of a landraider?

Pics appreciated.

I my self am not a big fan of armor plates on open top vehicles, but YMMV.

rainbow dashing to your side

smash it with a hammer and then reglue it a little. repeat for any other army to ork conversions

just chew it up a little, stick orks onto it and add a heap of guns. maybe add some plasticard extra armour. the battle wagon upgrade sprue has all you need really

Here's my take on a looted Land Raider.

http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/images-29027-10518_Looted%20Land%20Raider.html

I used a land raider as well as bits I didn't need from a battlewagon kit. Specifically, I use the BW's Ram, turret walls, track guards, and some glyphs. Keep in mind if you buy the GW Deffrolla, that a land raider is wider than a BW, so you will need to do something to widen the deffrolla connection. Since I was building a regular BW as well as my looted LR, I used a pair of cylindrical pieces that came as part of the Kill Kannon on the upgrade sprues.

My recommendation is a single Big Shoota (so weapon destroyed won't immobilize you), grot riggers (so you can get your deffrolla back in play if you get immobilized), armor plates (so you can keep moving if stunned). You can do RPJ also if red fits your armies theme. I'm doing a twist on Goff boys, so it wouldn't work well for me from a WYSIWYG standpoint.
