The tactics behind the list essentially amounts to this:
The Tanks will form a wall to protect the suits, which will then jump out and fry things.
Whatever the suits don't mop up will get shot by the Tanks.
Sky ray and Pathfinders work to bring down THE thing that has to die in a spectacular alpha strike. If I don't have a target, seeker missiles will fly out to kill anything worth targeting, such as stray Tyranid Warriors, Zoanthropes, Crisis Suits, Raiders.
So, in my gaming circle, we have a Tyranid Player, another Tau player, a Dark Eldar player, and a Black Templar/Blood Angel player.
The Tyranid Player brings a semi-horde list backed up by lots of special Monsters, and three Biovores, hence my hesitance to bring anything on foot.
The Dark Eldar player focuses on getting into HtH as fast as possible, completely neglecting any and all ranged options, and the other Tau player uses a massive 48 FW gunline, backed up by twin broadsides. I'm not worried about these two.
What worries me, however, is the Black Templar/ Blood Angel player. He constantly fields a Landraider Crusader, two terminator squads at 5 men each, a predator, and two dreadnoughts in drop pods. He'll bring Land Speeders and more tactical squads to taste, and charge me. I just can't kill those TH/SS terminators fast enough (that save irritates me).
So, how would I change this list to deal with these armies? (Note that I only own 7 Crisis suits, 12 Firewarriors, 6 Pathfinders, two devilfish, a skyray/hammerhead, a hammerhead, 14 Drones, and 12 Kroot.)
